Ayra Starr is in full Grammy 2026 mode! Check out her stunning MusiCares & Spotify party looks

Ayra Starr clearly going into Grammy mode. As the big night approaches, she hits some of the biggest pre-Grammy events, serving up unforgettable looks along the way. At the Recording Academy’s MusiCares gala — held in honor of Mariah Carey as person of the year — Ayra arrived in custom Nicholas Bacchilega a design that seemed elegant, confident and unmistakably hers.
Stylized Elly Karamohshe stepped out in a champagne satin dress with a structured corset-style bodice that flowed into a floor-length skirt with a soft train. The off-shoulder straps added a classic touch, while her beauty look leaned towards old Hollywood glamour, complete with glossy waves and subtle curls in the front. She completed the look with diamond studs, rings and a bracelet, combined with make-up in nude tones and clean, well-groomed nails. The overall effect was smooth and quietly assured.
She didn’t stop there. At Spotify’s Best New Artist party, Ayra switched things up with a bolder look, again styled by Karamoh. This time she opted for a sheer black lace bodysuit with fitted sleeves and a defined waist. Layered silver cross necklaces and statement earrings took center stage, while her high ponytail, finished with a huge black bow, added a romantic touch to the look.
Fashion moments aside, all eyes will be on Ayra this Sunday as she competes in the Best African Music Performance category for her hit “Gimme Dat” with Wizkid. She is against it Stormy Boy (“Love”), David and Omg Lay (“With you”), Republic of South Africa Tyla (“PUSH 2 START”) and Uganda Eddy Kenzo (“Hope and Love”). With these pre-Grammy appearances setting the tone, anticipation is already building for what she’ll wear at the main ceremony.
