Veteran Nollywood actress, Shan George has sparked a backlash online after commenting on the ongoing controversy surrounding media personality Frank Edoho, his ex-wife and singer Chika.
In a lengthy post shared online, Shan George condemned affairs involving married women, insisting that men who knowingly hook up with someone else’s wife are committing a serious offence.
According to her:
“Any man whose joystick is raised for another’s WOMAN has committed unacceptable sacrilege.”
She added that even when couples have problems in their marriage, outsiders should avoid romantic relationships until the marriage is officially over.
Referring to singer Chike, Shan George stated:
“Finally, Chike owes Frank Edoho and all the men whose wives he chewed, an apology.”
The actress also advised women who are unhappy in their marriages to leave rather than engage in affairs.
“If you marry Taya, after not trying your best, leave the marriage, doing ashiwo within the marriage is sacrilege.”
Her comments quickly drew mixed reactions on social media, with many Nigerians debating who should bear the blame in situations involving infidelity.
