Dated this 11th day of October, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria, Anita Natacha Akidealso known as Tachashe spent the day surrounded by brushes, powders and palettes, transforming 144 faces in just 24 hours. By the end, she had officially added two Guinness World Record holder titles to her achievements.

She performed the most cosmetic makeovers in 8 hours, completing 82 makeovers, and then completed 144 makeovers in 24 hours, surpassing the previous one more than 30 people are filming. Each makeover included foundation, concealer, blush, two eyeshadows, mascara, lip liner and gloss, finishing powder and shaped brows.

Tacha recalls the moment she received the confirmation. She screamed, cried and hugged her sister and her assistants. She told Guinness World Record,

I screamed, cried, hugged my sister and assistants. We were all beside ourselves. It felt like the whole of Nigeria was celebrating with me. Looking at the comments online, the love, the excitement, it felt like every person who ever believed in me was standing right there.

Make-up has always been more than beauty for Tacha. It was her safe space and her way of expressing herself. Since childhood, she was fascinated by colors and beauty. She would play with mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss even when her mother, a devoted church minister, disapproved. Her mother would throw away the products and Tacha would save up to buy them again. That persistence and love for what she does led her to this record.

She explains that success came from resilience and courage.

This record was born from that same spirit, resilience and courage to stand out. I wanted to show that Nigerian women can achieve anything they want, that creativity is powerful and that African women deserve global recognition.

Tacha sees his record as something bigger than himself. She says it belongs to every girl who dared to start over, every creative who doubted herself, every person who refused to give up and every dreamer who believes greatness can come from anywhere.

I want my story to remind the world that greatness has no geography and that the creative power of Africa deserves to be seen, celebrated and remembered.

Congratulations Tacha!
