Nigerian businessman shared a personal story about an unexpected experience he had while working for his ex employer.
According to him, he performed almost all of his duties in one of his boss’s shops and eventually complained that the work had become too much for one person.
He said he proposed hiring a saleswoman to help him, and after interviewing several candidates, one lady was selected.
The entrepreneur explained that both of them started working together in the store and that at first everything seemed normal.
However, things reportedly changed after the lady traveled to what she claimed was her elder sister’s traditional wedding. Around the same time, his boss also traveled to the village.
He said he later discovered the woman was secretly in a relationship with his employer. Upon his return, the boss allegedly introduced her as his wife and ordered him to start addressing her as madam.
According to the entrepreneur, the situation later became more difficult because his wife allegedly started assigning him tasks and having authority over him in the workplace.
Despite the experience, he said he eventually moved on and is grateful to have survived the challenging period.

“When I was doing “Boy” for my boss in one of his stores, I was the one who did everything, and there was too much work. So one day I told my gi that there was too much work and that I would like to get a saleswoman.
So I posted an ad for a saleswoman and 4 girls applied. I sent them to my oga to discuss and he chose one.
Me and the girl stayed in the shop and started working. Suddenly my saleswoman became my lady.
I’m going to tell you how it happened. I didn’t know that when the saleswoman and I were working, she was going out with my oga. Until one day she told me that she was traveling, that her older sister was having a traditional wedding and that she would stay for 5 days. I told my boss and he said no problem, I should give her N5K. That was many years ago.
Two days later my oga said he was traveling to the village. I didn’t even think anything.
On the day when they returned the man and the lady, they came to the shop together and he introduced her as my lady from now on.
My brother, I suffered. That girl started sending me on errands, she even sent me to buy her food. She even started searching me. My brother has seen things. But thank God I survived the trip…”
