“I’m not giving up” – Boy who wants to study economics at UI posts 2026 UTME result online

Bride Nigerian boyEjedera Emmanuel Fiyinfoluwa, who wants to study at the University of Ibadan (UI), has shared his 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result online.

The young candidate took to LinkedIn to post his result and reflect on his academic journey.

Ejedera disclosed that he scored 217 in the 2026 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB),

He also mentioned that he hopes to study economics at the University of Ibadan as he works to secure admission into the prestigious institution.

He wrote:

“Today is exactly one month since I received my JAMB UTME result – 217.

Looking back, this result means a lot more to me than a number. It reflects consistency, discipline, sacrifice, and a willingness to keep pushing even on tough days.

The preparation process was associated with pressure, long nights of studying, moments of doubt and determination to stay focused on my goals.

My name is Ejedara Emmanuel and this milestone is just the beginning of a bigger journey. While working towards admission to the University of Ibadan, I am also committed to developing beyond academics by building practical skills in technology and design. I believe that growth comes from constant learning, creation and improvement at every step.

I am sincerely grateful to everyone who encouraged, supported and believed in me throughout this process. Your words, advice and support meant a lot to me.

The journey continues, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.
