Ronaldo scores at the decisive moment

The 41-year-old restored Al-Nassr’s two-goal advantage with a stunning free-kick from a difficult angle near the left touchline, with the ball somehow eluding everyone before finding its way into the goal.

Ronaldo then completed his brace late in the game with a close-range strike that sparked emotional celebrations from the home fans.

The win ensured that Al-Hilal’s 1-0 win over Al-Fayha FC became irrelevant in the title race.

The long wait for silverware is finally over

This triumph is Ronaldo’s first major trophy since arriving at Al-Nassr in January 2023.

So far, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward has only won the Arab Club Champions Cup, a competition that is not officially recognized among the game’s top honours.

He won the previous major club trophy with Juventus when he won the Coppa Italia in 2021.

Ronaldo now heads into the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a lot of momentum after finishing the league campaign with 28 goals for Al-Nassr.
