How to start wearing heels again without killing your feet

Everyone wears ballet flats, slippers to the club, and soft comfortable shoes have officially taken over. But bring back the heels and no, we don’t mean those tiny little 2 inch heels either. We are talking about real heels that make you stand differently, walk differently and suddenly want to take a picture of yourself in the mirror again.

The problem is, after years of living in sneakers and flats, most people can barely survive two hours in heels without planning an escape route home. The trick to wearing heels again is not to suffer. It makes it easier for you to strategically return your feet into them.
Start with block heels before jumping straight into heels. Your feet need stability first. Gel insoles will become your best friend, especially for pointe shoes, and if the shoe hurts when you try it on, it won’t magically fix itself later.
Another game changer? Stop saving heels only for all-day events. Wear them around the house for a short while to restore comfort and balance.
Also, platform heels are secretly easier to walk in because they reduce pressure on the top of the foot. And if you know you’ll be out for hours, carry collapsible shoes in your bag. Stylish girls do it too.
The goal is to look good and be able to dance at the end of the night. If you’re going to try these tips, let us know in the comments
