A man ends a relationship after a girl demands a bouquet of money as an apology for an argument
On the social media platform X, the woman told how her neighbor relationship reportedly collapsed after a disagreement over monthly financial support escalated into an unusual demand for an apology.
According to the post, the couple had a serious argument a few days earlier, which later turned out to be at the center of the money.
The boyfriend reportedly claimed that he spends between ₦100,000 and ₦150,000 monthly on his girlfriend but insisted that it is never appreciated or enough.
A neighbor, who shared the story, expressed surprise at the level of spending, questioning how such a sum could be sustained amid current economic pressures for a relationship that had not yet led to marriage.
After a disagreement, she allegedly asked the girl how she managed to spend so much money within a month.
The girl attributed her expenses to skin care, hair care and food, although an observer noted that the visible results did not seem to reflect the stated spending.
Tensions further escalated when, according to the report, the girl insisted that she would not continue the relationship unless her boyfriend apologized to her with a “bouquet of money” and roses.
The situation took a dramatic turn the next night when the girl allegedly called her neighbor in tears, discovering that her boyfriend had taken the iPhone he had previously given her and declared the relationship over.
She reportedly admitted that her request for an apology in the form of a bouquet of money contributed to the breakup.
Reacting to the development, the neighbor said she could not offer any solution, describing the situation as “out of this world”.
