AND lady sparked online backlash after recounting how a simple comment she made to a visitor to her neighbor sparked an argument that ended the woman’s visit to the complex.
The incident that the lady shared on social media happened after a neighbor brought another woman home while his regular activities in the neighborhood had already attracted the attention of the residents.
According to the lady, the man left the woman in his apartment and soon drove away.
She claimed that the visitor later went outside in the man’s oversized clothes after he changed into his NYSC-coloured clothes.
The lady said that she then placed herself near the apartment and deliberately greeted the visitor by the name of the other woman.
Meeting outside the apartment
Recounting the incident, the lady said that she called the visitor “Faith” and acted as if she mistakenly assumed she was his wife.
“I shouted: ‘Vera, how far? You’re just pointing, not even checking me out,’ as you walk towards her,“, she explained.
“She turned and said, ‘Please?’ Then I said to her, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry. I thought you were Vera, his wife, before I went back to my room,” she added.
An argument follows an unexpected comment
According to the lady, the man soon returned and an argument allegedly broke out between him and the visitor before the woman eventually left the property.
“Later he knocked on my door asking what I told his wife. I denied everything and asked if he even saw me that day,” she said.
The lady added that since then the neighbor has been insulting her and calling her different names, including “demon”, about the incident.
