“They went to the farm” – Lady shouts like a mother, brother is kidnapped in Ogun, plays audio

Nigerian lady broke down in tears on social media after her mother and brother were allegedly kidnapped while traveling to their farm in Ogun State.

According to her, she had spoken to both of them earlier after they arrived at the farm before they suddenly became unavailable.

Speaking emotionally in the viral video, she said:

“Yesterday, my mom and my brother traveled. They even traveled before I woke up. When they arrived, I talked to my brother, I talked to my mom, we even sent pictures.”

She explained that she initially assumed there was a problem with the network after her brother stopped responding to messages, not knowing anything serious had happened.

The lady further revealed that she later received a voice message from her mother claiming that they had been kidnappedwhile the kidnappers reportedly demanded ₦100 million before it was reportedly negotiated to ₦50 million.

She also said that she was unable to reach her brother and did not know where he was.

“I saw my mom’s notification came in. She left a voicemail. She called again this morning and asked how much we raised? They want cash.”

“I asked her where my brother was, she said that she did not see my brother, that they were carried separately”, she added.

The incident sparked concern online, with many Nigerians expressing their condolences and calling on security agencies for immediate intervention.

At the time of filing the report, the whereabouts of the woman’s brother remain unknown as efforts to reach him have reportedly been unsuccessful.
