Daddy Freeze laments insecurity in Nigeria, says he feels safer driving in the UK at midnight than in Nigeria

  • Daddy Freeze went viral after comparing safety conditions in the UK and Nigeria, saying he feels safer driving at midnight abroad than in his own country.
  • His comments sparked massive reactions online, with many Nigerians blaming poor leadership and insecurity, while others accused celebrities of speaking out too late.

Media personality Daddy Freeze has sparked conversations online after speaking out about the insecurity and harsh living conditions in Nigeria compared to the UK.

In a viral statement, Daddy Freeze said he feels safer driving in the UK even late at night, unlike Nigeria where insecurity and fear of kidnappers and armed robbers remain major problems.

According to him:

“I’m in the UK and I’m driving around even at midnight, there’s bush everywhere, and I feel safe and protected, no kidnappers or armed robbers. A lot of Nigerians are migrating abroad because things are getting tougher. Defending Nigeria is a tough task, look at our health centers, roads flooded, the insecurity is terrible. Imagine a school teacher in Oyo state b€@d on camera.”

His statement quickly drew mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians agreeing with his concerns, while others accused the celebrities of speaking out only now after previously supporting the government.

Reacting to the post, Lexjay wrote:

“Nigeria’s problem is good leadership. The day we get it right with good and honest leadership, Nigeria will start working again.”

ITSportOfficial questioned the timing of the celebrity reactions, saying:

“Why do all the celebrities speak at the same time? Is it scripted?

We have to be smarter”

“@UNOFFICIALFACT prophesied that next week and days our influencers will go to SM to talk about Tinubu but it’s all fake outrage. 🤔 It’s happening”
