“I can’t sleep comfortably with women watching over me” — the man reacts to the housekeepers

AND man caused widespread reactions online after criticizing his estate’s decision to replace male security guards with two female guards at the main gate.
The unidentified man shared his concerns in a humorous post on social media, saying he no longer feels safe since the security change was implemented a few days ago.
According to him, at first he assumed the presence of female guards was temporary until he realized the arrangement was permanent.
The resident questions the decision about the property’s security
In a viral post, the resident said the property had previously seen occasional incidents of theft even when male guards were in charge, adding that the new development made him uncomfortable.
“My property changed the door security from men to two women and I haven’t felt safe since. No one should use my life and play gender equality games with me. As a budding Alpha Male, I can’t comfortably sleep with women who look out for me.”
The man further revealed that although he rarely attends estate association meetings, he now plans to attend the next gathering scheduled for Saturday to voice his concerns to other residents.
Social media users react to viral posts
The post quickly drew mixed reactions online, with many users laughing at the tenant’s dramatic tone, while others defended the women’s insurance, arguing that professionalism is more important than gender.
Some commentators have also pointed out that women have successfully served in military, police and private security positions across Nigeria and other countries.
In recent years, several Nigerian properties and organizations have increasingly employed female security officers as part of broader workplace inclusion and gender representation efforts.
