Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her current outlook on marriage, revealing that she has moved on from the idea emotionally, although she still hopes to have a daughter in the future.
Speaking during a livestream with TikTok personality Jarvis, the actress reflected on motherhood, family and her personal feelings about relationships.
Regina revealed that she hasn’t seen her children since last year, but remains optimistic that they will be reunited soon. She also shared that she no longer envisions remarrying due to personal reasons.
Despite this, she expressed a strong desire to have a girl, saying she believes the experience of raising a daughter offers a deeper connection to motherhood.
According to her, having a female child brings a different and deeper understanding of motherhood.
She said in part:
“The last time I saw my children was last year.
I know I will see them again one day, very soon.
But for some reason I have given up on marriage but I am yet to have a baby girl and I must have a baby girl. I feel like she would understand motherhood better if she had a little girl.”
It will be recalled that in October last year she reportedly separated from her husband Ned Nwok after a public disagreement.
