Popular socialite and entrepreneur Cuba’s high priest sparked new political conversations online after he opened up about his relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi during an interview with TikTok personality Peller.

Speaking during an interview, the Cuban high priest claimed that President Tinubu and members of his camp are still skeptical of trusting him because of his previous support for Peter Obi and his Igbo background.

“Tinubu still does not fully trust me because I am an Igbo man and I used to work for Peter Obi, so they think I might betray him too,” he said.

The famous businessman also explained why he decided to distance himself from Obi’s political movement ahead of the upcoming elections.

“I left Peter Obi because I didn’t want to keep losing. Peter Obi is not ready and I don’t see him winning the next election because there are people who are more ready than him,” he added.

His remarks quickly sparked mixed reactions online, with supporters and critics debating his comments and political loyalties ahead of the 2027 general election.

@Emeka Ezeanya: “’I left Obi because I don’t like to lose… now Tinubu don’t trust me because I am ready to betray myself too.’ Bro, you are not a strategist, you are a walking loyalty problem. Even the new team scans your barcode like ‘this one has a previous owner’. Peter Obi never needed your CV anyway. The streets will decide in 2027.

@Hugo Joel: “Do you know where you work for obi….? Did you use obi to support chase clout ode!!!! Pascal really makes no sense and it’s important for your mind to deal with the scheme of things in politics aaah 😱 Weytin is a type smoke.”

@Fodio: “This guy is the biggest fool in Nigeria. He chose the side of evil in this battle between good and evil. By the grace of God he will not be relevant in Nigeria after the next election when we win.”

@Richard: “If you’ve seen this video and can’t see his stupidity, then I don’t know what to tell you. For him, it’s not about who has something to offer the nation for its betterment.

It’s about who can make him win. It’s not about quality or the real reason to win… Just be able to win, I’ll follow you. The brain… Not accessible.. but in his stomach.”

@Solace Chukwu: “When two mentally unstable people talk, it’s always fun to listen to them. Maybe they’re discussing ‘how the mountain ran away and came back with a lot of seriousness’.”
