Popular media personality and television presenter, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu he opened up about his 13-year struggle with smoking.
In a recent podcast appearance on his TV series, ‘Mentality with Ebuka‘, the father of two children revealed that he started smoking in JSS 3.
According to him, his mother almost caught him when he was smoking for the first time, and he was the youngest in the class.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu opens up about addiction
According to the host of BBNaija, while he was in college, he smoked two packs of cigarettes a day.
Shedding light on the addiction he discovered, “The last cigarette I smoked was in February 2008. It’s been a long time, I’ve laughed for 13 years. I smoked a lot.”
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s marital status
It will be recalled that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu proposed to his wife again in Rome for their 10th anniversary at St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican during their 10th wedding anniversary trip.
He planned it without her knowledge, and they received a confirmation of the 10th anniversary from the Pope during the Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica.
He also posted a video of the moment on Instagram, while fans described the couple as one of the most cherished celebrity marriages in Nigeria.
Namely, the couple got married on February 6, 2016.
The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on November 9, 2016, and their second child on March 31, 2019.
They initially kept it low-key, while Ebuka hinted at the news on microblogging platform X, formerly Twitter, in April 2019.
