Popular Nigerian media personality and host of Big Brother Naija, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has spoken candidly about his previous battle with smoking addiction.

The fashion TV host shared a personal story while appearing on the Mentality podcast, where he reflected on how the habit started and progressed over the years.

Ebuka revealed that he started smoking during his secondary school days, specifically in JSS3, and continued for over a decade.

“I started smoking in JSS3. I smoked for 13 years. By the time I got to university, I was already smoking two packs a day,” he revealed during the interview.

His revelation comes just months after he garnered attention online for a heartfelt romantic gesture towards his wife, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu.
