A Cuban high priest from Nigerian society has reacted to reports of his defeat in the APC primaries for the House of Representatives seat, insisting that the failure will not discourage his political ambitions.
Speaking during an interview with streamer Peller, the nightlife entrepreneur said that online criticism doesn’t bother him, claiming that many of his critics on social media are no match for his financial situation.
“I will never give up even if I lose again. All these people trolling me for IG and Twitter, I checked their site and none of them got a G-Wagon,” he said.
The Cuban high priest also revealed that several media outlets approached him after the election results, but he chose to only interact with a younger audience, which influenced his decision to speak during the interaction.
He further suggested that his political journey is still a work in progress, hinting that a bigger role awaits him despite his recent loss.
“How will I be sad that poor people are saying? Everyone is calling me, TVC is calling me, Channels are calling me, but you are the only one I answered because I am for the youth. I have a plan B, maybe God wants me to be the governor”, he added.
His statements drew mixed reactions online, with supporters praising his confidence while critics criticized his comments about less privileged individuals.
The statement continues to create buzz on social media as Nigerians debate his post-election comments.
