Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu popularly known as Odumodublvck has revealed the private conversations he had with Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice ahead of the club’s Premier League triumph.
The rapper posted screenshots of the exchange on his X account on March 19, shortly after Arsenal’s win over Burnley secured them the EPL title after a 22-year wait.
The messages showed Odumodublvck offering encouragement, prayers and emotional support to the England international during key moments of the season.
Sharing the screenshots, he captioned them: “CHAMPIONS IN THE NAME OF JESUS THE MIGHTY ❤️“.
In a chat on May 11, 2026, the rapper praised Rice for the crucial pass that set up a move that included Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard, describing the moment as so intense it almost brought him to tears as the club pushed towards the title.
He also urged the midfielder to stay focused, reminding him that only a few more wins stand between Arsenal and league glory.
The conversations had a strong religious tone, with Odumodublvck assuring Rice that divine support was guiding the team along the way.
He went on to describe Rice as destined for success and repeatedly prayed for Arsenal to become champions.
Declan Rice reportedly responded to the messages, expressing his gratitude for the support and encouragement during the fierce title race.
“Prayers up prayers up. Keep praying for us brother. Our time has come God willing ❤️,” wrote the Arsenal midfielder.
