According to him, religious gatherings should currently focus on solving the crisis in the country and representing the people.

The singer argued that both Christian and Muslim leaders have a responsibility to confront the government and advocate for citizens during difficult times.

He also expressed concern that schools and normal activities are continuing despite the security situation, describing the moment as one that should trigger a national emergency.

Spyro specifically called out prominent religious figures, including Enoch Adeboye, David OyedepoWilliam Kumuyi, Jerry Eze and other prominent priests, asking why they did not speak out more forcefully about the state of the country.

He also questioned the silence of influential Muslim leaders and scholars.

According to the artist, the country is facing a serious crisis and religious leaders should not remain focused only on crusades and services while citizens continue to suffer.

His words in part…

“Why do I go to church where another message is preached apart from what is happening in the country.

Any church that preaches any message different from what is happening in this country and does not speak for the people and address the government is wrong.

Any mosque that talks about anything different from what is happening in this country, you are wrong.

Schools are still opening, why? This requires the imposition of a state of emergency. What is our limit? When will we say enough is enough?

It took me a while to make this video because I was waiting for a response from the church and religious leaders.

Where is Pastor Adeboye, Oyedepo, Pastor Kumuyi in all this? Where is Pastor Bolaji in all this? Where is Jerry Eze in all this? Where are all the respectable men of God in all this?

And for Muslims, where are your sheikhs? Where are the Alphas?

Now is not the time to sit around holding crusades and ministries. The country is on the verge of collapse…”
