A famous bartender Cuban high priest he told about his first meeting with the Afrobeats star David, describing the singer as genuinely warm and supportive even before they became close friends.
According to the Cuban High Priest, they first met at the Intercontinental Hotel during a celebration he organized for his son after the child returned to Nigeria as a citizen of the United States.
He said Davido happened to be by the pool during the event and joined in celebrating with him even though he didn’t know who he was at the time.
The Cuban high priest added that he booked him to come to his club in Owerri during the meeting.
The entrepreneur pointed out that the singer’s excitement and positive energy during the meeting left a striking impression on him.
