Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile is reportedly now married after he and his longtime partner Davita Lamai held a low-key private civil wedding ceremony.
Photos and videos from the intimate event began circulating on social media on Wednesday, May 19, catching many fans by surprise. The ceremony was said to be kept strictly out of public view until an event decorator involved in the organization confirmed it online.
The decorator, known as @decor_with_dems on Instagram, shared clips and pictures from the occasion, revealing details about the meticulously planned ceremony.
Describing the event, the decorator wrote: “Davita and Zlatan’s private civil ceremony. A beautifully curated moment designed with love and kept a secret until now. Thank you to the Omonia family for trusting us.”
The development comes just a few months after Zlatan publicly denied claims that Davita was already his wife. In January, he clarified on social networks that, although Davita is the mother of his child, they were not married at the time.
He also expressed his frustration at what he described as false reports about his private life, saying he rarely speaks publicly about his relationships but felt prompted to address the rumours.
Speculation about their relationship reignited in March after Davita updated her Instagram profile name to include “Omoniyi”, Zlatan’s last name, sparking further chatter online about a possible wedding.
