Nigerian military officer sparked reactions online after sharing his views on voting and leadership ahead of the 2027 general election, urging citizens to elect the right leaders.

In a viral video, he stated that members of the military are not participating votingbut leaders elected by civilians ultimately give them instructions to follow.

He emphasized the importance of voting for leaders who are not driven by money or personal gain, but are dedicated to justice and the well-being of citizens.
According to him, the choice of the leadership affects everyone, including the security personnel who are obliged to carry out the lawful orders of the elected authorities.
One last piece of advice to Nigerians
He further advised voters to prioritize character and humanity over publicity or popularity when choosing their leaders.
In his words: “I’m not saying you don’t have to vote for whoever you like, but please, vote for the right person.
You know what that is? Now, we (army) do not vote, but anyone who does not vote, on him give us an order to go follow otherwise watimagbo.
So if you want to vote, vote for a leader who doesn’t love money but loves justice. Vote for a leader who doesn’t like publicity but loves humanity, so everyone goes…”
