The Netizens Choice Awards launched the 2026 Hottest Man Alive poll, celebrating the top 100 male celebrities who embody charm and star power in the worlds of entertainment, sports and beyond. It’s the kind of list that carries real weight — the winner makes headlines, is featured on a screen in Times Square, and gets the cover of Netizens Choice magazine, an accolade that goes beyond a social media poll. Nigeria has two names on that list.

Remina’s face card was never questionable. The Benin City-born singer has one of those faces that the camera has always been very comfortable with – and the fashion world apparently agrees. He walked the Diesel FW26 show in Milan as part of Milan Fashion Week, adding another appearance to a fashion relationship that has been going on for some time. Between music and catwalks, Rema has a very busy season, and the nomination is at the center of it all.

Damson Idris, on the other hand, was equally busy. The British-Nigerian actor was recently announced as Formula 1’s global ambassador, a move that speaks as much to his growing global profile as anything else. She’s got a look that’s always drawn attention—strong features, a face she photographs with great intent—and the internet has been making its feelings clear about it for years. The nomination for Netizens Choice is simply the latest confirmation of something that many people already knew.
Be that as it may, seeing two Nigerian names on that list is already a moment.
