A man’s relationship ends after he catches his girlfriend’s sister stealing groceries from his restaurant on CCTV

The owner of the business has reportedly ended his relationship after he discovered that his girlfriend’s sister was allegedly stealing food from his restaurant, sparking an online backlash.
The story appeared on Xu after a woman told how a restaurant owner became suspicious of declining profits at his business despite spending heavily on restocking every few weeks.
According to the post, the man used to spend more than ₦300,000 on food every five weeks to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
However, he reportedly noticed that the income generated did not correspond to the level of investment.
In order to find out the cause of the losses, the entrepreneur allegedly installed a personal video surveillance camera in the restaurant without notifying the workers.
CCTV reportedly reveals repeated thefts
The lady claimed that a hidden camera recorded his girlfriend’s sister, who worked at the restaurant, secretly packing groceries into plastic bags and taking them away.
According to the story, the incident did not happen only once.
The entrepreneur allegedly continued to monitor the video and allegedly discovered that the employee was repeating the same action for three consecutive days.
After gathering enough evidence, he allegedly confronted his girlfriend and showed her CCTV footage before immediately firing her sister from her job.
The relationship reportedly collapsed after that
The post further claims that the girl was left shocked and speechless after seeing the video.
However, instead of supporting the businessman’s decision, she allegedly accused him of being insensitive and merciless towards her family member.
The disagreement eventually led to the end of their relationship.
According to user X, the entrepreneur refused to apologize for his actions and insisted that his business should not suffer because of personal relationships.
