“Bandits may soon follow people to Lagos” – Mr Real raises alarm over growing insecurity, calls for urgent intervention

Nigerian singer Mr. Real expressed concern over the growing insecurity in different parts of the country and the increasing number of people moving to Lagos State.
According to him, many Nigerians now see Lagos as the safest place to live, which is why people have to leave their states for fear of attacks and insecurity.

“Lagos is becoming overcrowded. Everyone is leaving their states and moving to Lagos State believing that Lagos is the safest place,” he said.
Mr. Real further stated that criminal activities and violent attacks in several communities continued to drive people from their homes and businesses.
The singer also called president Bola Tinubu and other political leaders urgently address the country’s security challenges before the situation worsens.
“Bandits and terrorists are now chasing people and may soon follow them to Lagos. Let our president and other politicians do something about this insecurity,” he added.
His statement added to ongoing online conversations about insecurity, internal migration and security issues across Nigeria.
It will be recalled that late last year, the artiste, known for his hit song Legbegbe, also took to social media to express his fear over what he described as a disturbing dream involving possible attacks.
The concern comes amid repeated reports of violent incidents in several regions of the country, where banditry and kidnappings have left many dead or displaced.
