Virus widow Hey teacher, Mrs. Mary Oyedokun has appealed to government and security agencies following the death of her husband who was killed during a recent attack on a school in Oyo State.
The tragic incident reportedly followed coordinated attacks on schools in Oriire Local Government Area Oyo State.
The affected schools include Community High School, Ahoro-Esiele, LA Primary School, Esiele, and Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota. During the attack, the attackers allegedly kidnapped dozens of students and teachers.
The video caused public outrage
Public outrage followed after a video purportedly depicting the killing of Mr. Michael Oyedokun surfaced online and quickly spread across social media, drawing widespread condemnation.
The widow’s emotional appeal
After the incident, Mrs. Oyedokun appeared in a heartbreaking video, pleading with the authorities to recover her husband’s remains so that he could be properly buried.
She said: “Please, I am begging the government and the security agencies to help me bring back my husband’s remains. I want to bury him properly, so he can have a burial place for future use.”
