Why am I afraid of marriage – opens the Ice Prince

39-year-old Nigerian rapper the ice prince he revealed why he is not in a hurry to get married, talking about the realities of modern relationships and marriage now scare him.
Speaking during a podcast interview with a media personality Rufai Osenithe rapper explained that he constantly sees marriages break up shortly after getting married, which has influenced how he views marriage.
According to him, he also notices the pressure many people face trying to finance elaborate wedding ceremonies, revealing that friends often turn to him for financial help just to get married. He said he didn’t want to expose himself to that kind of pressure.
The ice prince added that he might think about marriage later in life, perhaps around 40, noting that some people he admires, including rapper MI Abaga, got married at that stage of life.
The rapper went on to share some of his long-term personal goals, stating that he hopes to one day go back to school and eventually run a farm.
He also said that he does not see himself actively releasing music albums at the age of 40, suggesting that he plans to move into another phase of life in the future.

“These days I’m more and more afraid of this marriage thing because I see people get married and in less than a year they want to get out. I see the drama people go through to get married, the stress of borrowing money. My friends keep asking me to borrow money to get married and I don’t want to be that person… I hope it will be maybe when I’m 40. Some of my mentors got married at that age – someone like MI Abaga got married at that age. Maybe when When I’m that age, I probably won’t think about it.
I also have other goals when I’m 40. I intend to go to school. I really want to go to school and I would like to run a farm when I am that age. I don’t intend to put out albums when I’m 40…”
